Though we may be separated by the sands of time, space, and the current pandemic, at the core of humanity is the lifelong desire towards play. As children, we played constantly and we lived each day as if it were our first. By the simple game of playing with sandcastles, we built entire worlds made entirely of our imagination where anything is possible. Through this artwork, the artist hopes to re-capture that same spirit of playfulness and delight which most grown-ups have lost sight of. Somewhere off at the end of days, we will all return to playing sandcastles in paradise.
