The Dragonfly glides across the surface of the water gently kissing the surface as it dives for a drink. it represents an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking deeper into the deeper implications and aspects of life. Dragonfly’s can be a symbol of self that comes with maturity. Living most of their life as nymphs they only reach the ability of flight once they mature into adulthood. They can symbolize going past self-created illusions that limit our growth and ability to change.
